Find details below of the insurance coverage and deductibles/NOC - 
 
 
The"renter" or the "driver" is liable for damage based on the "Rental Contract" signed at the time of rental and the below explains in detail. 
 
Insurance coverage is covered as per the following limits, as long as driver/renter has folowed the contract and "Terms and Conditions" and follows Japanese law (i.e  Driver of the vehicle has signed into the  rental contract as a driver, has a valid drivers license etc.)
 
 
Insurance Coverage while driving Peak Niseko Car Rental Vehicles - 
  
  • Compensation for third party personal injury : Unlimited per person 
  • Compensation for third party property damage : Unlimited per accident [cost of 50,000yen covered by customer (deductible)] 
  • Compensation for personal injury (Customers in our vehicles) : Up to 30,000,000 yen per person in our vehicle (Compensation only during driving)
  • Collision : Up to the vehicle market price   [cost of 50,000yen covered by customer (deductible)]
 
 Deductible 
 
  • Deductible for Third party vehicle:50 000 yen (Per vehicle)
  • Deductible for collsion in Peak Niseko Vehicles (50 000 yen)
 
 
Non-operation charge (NOC) 
 
 
In the event that an accident, theft, breakdown, stain, etc. occurs and Peak Niseko vehicle needs to be repaired or cleaned, 
the following NOC will be charged to the client - 
 
  • If the vehicle is in driving condition and is returned to the rental location. ⇒ 20,000yen
  • If the vehicle is not in driving condition and is returned to the rental location. ⇒ 50,000yen
 
 
Examples:
 
 
1) Accident with third party property and our car is drivable (Small fender bender)  -
 
50 000 Deductible (for third party propert/car)
50 000 Deductible (for collision/our car damage)  
20 000 No Operation charge 
 
-Total 120 000 JPY
 
2) Accident with third party property and our vehicle is NOT drivable  -
50 000 Deductible (for third party property)
50 000 Deductible (for collision)  
50 000 No Operation charge 
-Total 150 000 JPY
 
 
3) Accident by yourself (No third party property) and car is drivable -
50 000 Deductible (for collision)  
20 000 No Operation charge   
-Total 70 000 JPY
 
 
4) Accident by yourself (No third party property) and car is NOT drivable -
50 000 Deductible (for collision)  
50 000 No Operation charge   
-Total 100 000 JPY
 
 
We do offer a extra option to pay a little exta (ask please) to avoid paying the deductibles - if you back this all deductibles will not have to be paid, but you will still have to pay the NOC (Non operation Charge).  
 
*In case of an accident, the rental contract will be finished. In addition, the rental fee we have received will not be refunded.
*If the tow truck transportation cost to our designated repair shop exceeds 150,000 yen, the customer will be responsible for it (highly unsual)
*Flat Tires or Loss/Damage to hubcaps are minor and will be covered by the customer
